Again weather chaos ...
Our last trip will Dave even a detailed blog post, so I hold myself back there again. But there are enough to report. This afternoon we should get rid of, on our last trip before we take our well-earned holiday. The plan was to take the ferry to 1700 Clock to Granton and go from there as usual to South Carolina.
However, we make our yellow sub-Truck (read by Dave) a proper spanner in the works: The battery, although it is not soo cold, passed to the happy hunting grounds. Stupid, we have forgotten my 50-meter extension cord for the block heater in the green truck and it was nothing to preheating.
Longer bridging invited the battery to the Blazers while the battery to approximately 13 volts, but the engine block seems to be frozen stiff already so that the starter is not even creating a revolution alone.
can have a game we called Penske SOS, so we have started the truck and hang at least overnight in the terminal in Charlottetown to the cable. The ferry we will not achieve now and in time for tonight is yet another published snowfall warning - with the announcement that the Confederation Bridge too long Time for trucks will be barred.
If we are unlucky, so we're going to come down at least until tomorrow morning, not from the island. I can now see no more snow ...

A Sinus Infection Green Mucus Coming Out Eye
Pumpkin Heads
On Halloween, Jill and I wanted to really dress up as Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth. Unfortunately, we were due to Jill's and my constant trips Lernerei not to get to everything you need in time, so we postponed the plan to next year.
Instead, we quickly hollowed out pumpkins placed on the head. The traditional pumpkin carving, we of course can not take.

Double Food Inspection
the beginning of our second to last tour we were given this kind information via satellite to bring our truck to the garage and start the tour with a Mietzugmaschine. It would have been some difficulties with other trucks and Caterpillar wanted to check as a precaution. Among other coolant in the oil circuit of the other trucks had been found. Can not hurt it, because at least the oil is cool =)
clever as we were, we reported the inspection due soon to also to give us another visit in order to spare in the workshop. As far as we thought at Penske but not so we could antanzen again after just one round there. Well at least you get paid for the wait ...

After two and a half years I've lost my way recently for the first time in a Bulk Barn . I can not tell you exactly why I have not looked inside there once before.
any case, it sent me straight loss for words because of the brutal variety of nuts, sweets and snacks. There are also baking ingredients, Spices, cereals, various varieties of rice and pasta - and all that really ALL FASS WAY! Even the good Haribo!

When I Sit Down On My Period It Hurts
High Speed Internet at Highway Speed
Since the iPhone in Canada Rogers pharmacy network is not as common in the U.S., was offered with an unlimited data contract, went on the setting up quite an outcry across the country and many rants about this wiedermal outrageous pricing.
has of course reacted Rogers, but not with a data plan, but can with a feature, wait for the American AT & T customers for a long time: tethering. So I can my iPhone in Canada just in my Slot in laptop and surf, as usual, without hacking away on the small screen.
The whole with a regular speed and in full throttle driving truck. Hurrah! Since I can just over the border again indulge my addiction =)

Princess Trainer Clock Instructions
The Post is here!
Last week was again a move. Iain is from our truck pulled out because he will teach one of the new driver. Fortunately, the long awaited finally gain by the Orientation and can save us some work. Unit 557 403, of course, I've kept, and finally only to expand my whole Geraffels would take several hours.
on Iain's site is now Dave recovered. The first joint tour went well except for some waiting time in Granton and Sandy Springs very pleasant. We had already thought that we would also go well with each other are clear. Dave usually goes his eleven hours straight without loitering by, interrupted only by Chen a bathroom break. Otherwise time was saved. Therefore, we were some earlier than usual time at home
The day of our departure, I had a nice letter from Buffalo in the mailbox: the call to Medical test for PR. On PEI were scheduled earlier than the middle of December (!) To get, something is obviously very nice, as you for the test has only 60 days left ... When we got home yesterday, called Joe, who had applied for his PR at the same time with me and had the same letter in the mail. He had both of us have made a 'date' in Moncton with Dr. Bandyayera - for this morning!
early bird, worm ... and so we have this morning made ungodly hour on the way to New Brunswick. Typically German, we were even before opening practice on the mat. That was the best thing we could do, because this is first come - first serve and the place was soon packed. After a brief investigation and questioning, we were able to drive to the hospital where X-rayed the lungs and blood samples were taken. Shortly before midnight was already done everything that the doc will send the collected documents from Ottawa and for us it is now waiting again.
To our one-year and Jills nachzufeiern birthday, we were tonight in the Claddagh Oyster House . For Jill, there were others scallops and jumbo shrimp and For me a juicy rack of lamb. Can only recommend the store did, not long dined so delicious =)

Star Choice Motarolla Remote
Thanksgiving and new toys
Last weekend, the Canadians celebrated Thanksgiving. However, we celebrated the feast not with the usual turkey. Cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, but with salmon, shrimp and Ramo. Hihi ...
The free days (Iain and I were taken out of Wednesday) as called. Jill has a birthday (And I just like that) to get everyone a iPhone 3G . From the previous model I had, in particular because of the lousy camera genommmen still thanking distance, but the latest generation is really awesome.

Rat Terrier Or Fox Terrier
300 000 screwdriver
have Almost exactly a year to get my former team-mate Frank and I are the key to our new truck 557403rd Last Thursday the odometer crossed the 300,000 km mark, even though we have to do much more today than when we were still holds four days off. To celebrate
the day was a faithful workhorse quick wash with the hose and NEN extra sip 15W40. Apart from two minor outages us, our truck is not abandoned and still purrs like a kitten.
However, the radio was for some time not been heard from him, and as we had are still two pieces under the bed to do, we just had to find time and leisure time for an exchange. Unfortunately, I moved my screwdriver set, but something you get it in every truck stop.
One would think ... I was actually so mad, in Irving Big Stop in Salisbury to buy a screwdriver want. Haha, how could I be so crazy ... Gibbet ned! With such sophisticated and complex tools to work in Canada after all, only Nobel Laureate, and Dr. Frankenstein.
Instead you get there, five (5!) Different varieties of porcelain dolls, Native American winter blankets, Christmas Window
jewelry, glitter pen sets, coasters with puppy (or kitten) and camouflage clothing for hunters. A housewife has actually got there because of the treasures collected moist eyes. So much is wonderful trinkets finally nowhere else I have my
new screwdriver then at Flying J in Carlisle PA get.

Dog Black Skin Scale On Belly
economic crisis
economic crisis? Hmmm did, sometimes it is ... I know I've had anything for some time, but in recent months, we are really rotate on and in my short 'weekends' then I will not even spend hours at the computer sitting =)
We drive still the same tour, but the tempo has increased greatly. Last week we received a communication via satellite, with a request to make possible only the prescribed 36 hours off duty, otherwise the contract would last no longer cope. Since we would be pretty stupid if we say no =)
Until new drivers to the Orientation and capable on the box, some teams are even split up and are now driving through the area Single ... And it's like that time in Germany, the main thing, the charge is out of the customer and then rolling 'stored' in the street.
Today it goes out again early in the morning called out to dispatch with ner new tour. We have not done since our return actually much, once grilled, canceled another time because of general fatigue and spent the rest lazily on the sofa. But soon Christmas ...
