Christmas in Danish
Today we were invited to Nina and Hellene. We were warmly welcomed and a very pleasant pre-Christmas dinner waiting for us. Here it is customary to tinker together before Christmas. Star, moose, angels, thus further. I was seized briefly the pleasure craft, but not so much patience, so I dedicated myself back then but rather the conversations and the nose ;-). There were the typical
aebleskiver (fritters) with powdered sugar and jam, and we drank
( mulled wine) Gløgg spiced with raisins and almonds. Later, there were homemade
pebernødder (pepper nuts), a Danish Christmas cookies with the longest tradition. Really delicious.
This was again a real feel-good evening to my taste! :-) Tak for en aften
hyggelig! (Thanks for the great evening!)
