12 (the best), 10, 7, 4, 2, 00 (Fail); -3
between the first and seventh school year, no grading is in traditional sense. Schools are required to inform students and parents at least twice a year on the progress of students. From the eighth to tenth school year, grades in given, in which a final exam can be done: Danish, mathematics, English, physics and chemistry, German, Latin, French, art, woodwork, home economics, typing.
